Content: In this two part workshop participants will be introduced to concepts in global-scale entrepreneurship. Examples will illustrate cases where companies were able to tie three key aspects into one company: global market, social projects and technology. That is, examples where technological products are used to raise the quality of life of a rural area.
On day 1, attendants will be introduced to basic concepts that will be illustrated with case studies followed by preparing a business model for a global market. Attendants will answer questions like
- What is international entrepreneurship?
- How do I prepare a business model for a global market?
On day 2, participants will go through various exercises to evaluate the value of a startup, the market for a startup and the growth strategy for a startup. Attendants will be introduced to tools such as
- Value proposition
- Strategy canvas
- SWOT analysis
